I hope this one can be fixed quickly and another hotfix version released this week because this one is a disabling bug, the program is actually broken if anyone wants to use the stencils, which I do frequently. Hotfix version 11.7.1 Apcrashes immediately if the Stencil is turned on.
UPDATE: the problem with the application crashing when enabling Stencil has now been fixed in the second hotfix released on -Īlso, see the two previous posts above regarding the crashing bug when stencil is enabled: (I seldom use George scripting, so will leave it to those who do to confirm this is working.) The George command tv_SetActiveShape "crop" is once again working correctly.Warp Grid handles are displayed once again.Applying FX Stack when the source is "Color Group" or "Selected Layer" no longer creates a layer containing only one frame. So the user must manually change the name of the FX being imported in the Save As window.Īlso, in the main TVPaint config folder the FX Bin files continue to be displayed with redundant name of "bin.bin" for every FX category instead of naming them properly as "Keyframer.bin", "Multiplane.bin", "Particles.bin", etc. but continues to have a problem with the correct naming of the exported file, attaching the name of the previously exported FX to the current FX being exported, instead of using the name of the current FX. You might need to refresh your configuration for this change to be applied. For example, if you export the Keyframer settings, the file will be "Keyframer.bin".
When exporting FX settings, the bin name should no longer be "bin.bin" but instead the FX name.Notes are once again displayed on the timeline when Interface Scaling is at 1,5 or 2,5 Works.Camera view playback works correctly for me in the April 28 hotfix. Playback with Camera View now works like it used to before v11.7.1.Light Table continues to work as usual for me.) Light Table no longer shows up during playback.(I did not have this problem so someone with Windows 11 will need to confirm) Greatly lowered the chance of getting a license error on Windows 11 for the dongleless version.I would suggest you use the Contact form on the website as it will be more likely to be seen first thing on Monday. We have released a hotfix addressing the following issues: So you need to request that TVPaint Support migrates your license to the WIBU dongleless security system. The issue is that the company who make the dongle, Safenet, have not updated their dongle drivers to work with MacOS Monterey or Ventura. I can wait until Monday and hopefully somebody from TVP could tell me how to proceed. In the greyed out TVP window I can also see a tab called purchase, which makes me wonder if I should and where I could re-enter my unlock code. I'm using a USB dongle, it's plugged in and has a green LED light active, but in TVP I get this pop-up telling me to plug in the dongle. I'm back to the original problem with the dongle not getting seen by TVpaint. I also used the exception method with system preferences that you mentioned. Thanks David! I re-installed from my account and have the Dec22, 20022 version. To change these preferences on your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Security & Privacy, then click General. This button is available for about an hour after you try to open the app. Note: You can also grant an exception for a blocked app by clicking the Open Anyway button in the General pane of Security & Privacy preferences. The app is saved as an exception to your security settings, and you can open it in the future by double-clicking it just as you can any registered app. Launchpad doesn’t allow you to access the shortcut menu.Ĭontrol-click the app icon, then choose Open from the shortcut menu.
In the Finder on your Mac, locate the app you want to open.ĭon’t use Launchpad to do this. If you continue to get that message from Apple about how the software can not be opened because it is from an "unidentified developer", do this: 22,2022 release downloaded and reinstall Codemeter from that one, following these instructions for installation: viewtopic.php?t=14973 I believe the Codemeter installer that is contained in the TVPaint 11.7.1 installer (released on Dec. The latest version of Monterey is 12.6.3 (that's the one I have). If you updated to macOS Monterey, please install this version of CodeMeter and the software should be able to run once again. I also tried this advice from Thierry on page 1, but the link does not open for me: UPDATE : On macOS Monterey 12.4 (the latest one), TVPaint doesn't start because CodeMeter doesn't seem to be working. I get an error saying that Apple can't verify that the software is secure. I have now downloaded TVP again and have trouble installing it. I just updated to Monterey and since TVP had trouble with the dongle I found this thread.
